DadMode Liquid Laundry Detergent Is the Best on the Planet

Big CPG Won’t Like this Post
It might even get me a Cease & Desist. Wouldn’t be my first, won’t be my last.
Both bottles pictured clean 64 medium loads of laundry. One pollutes the world with microplastics. The boxing gloves on the label are not coincidental.
I spent 10 years building Puracy, launching and improving multiple laundry detergents. I know this industry inside and out.
When I set out to create DadMode, I brought 25+ years of cleaning expertise to the table. I live and breathe cleaning. I once wrote an 11-page article on a microfiber towel we developed and went through 47 iterations of Puracy’s body wash to remove just 2% sulfates—because it had to be perfect (& sulfate-free).
So when I say DadMode is the best liquid laundry detergent on the planet, it’s not hype. It’s science. It’s experience. It’s personal.
What Big Laundry Doesn’t Want You to Know
Laundry Detergent Has to Work the First Time.
Consumers will forgive a lot—but if a detergent doesn’t get the job done, they’re switching brands.
● Laundry is one of the “stickiest” products in a household. People change detergents maybe 4-5 times in their lifetime.
● Why? Life changes—moving in with a partner, having kids, skin sensitivities, budget shifts, new product innovations.
● That’s why Big Laundry survives. They spend billions on marketing because their LTV (Lifetime Value) is measured in decades.
Free & Clear” Exists Because Big Laundry Created the Problem.
● Mainstream brands load their formulas with toxic perfumes and dyes that irritate skin.
● Then they create “Free & Clear” versions to sell you a solution for the irritation they caused in the first place.
Big Laundry’s Business Model is Built on Waste.
● Those massive plastic jugs? 75% water.
● Every time they “redesign” a bottle, the cap size never changes.
o Why? Because they know most people overpour detergent (and buy more faster).
● Pods? They started at 1 per load—now brands recommend 2 or even 3 per load.
o At that rate, you’re paying almost $1 per load.
Plastic & Microplastic Pollution is Out of Control.
● Big Laundry’s plastic bottles?
o Made from virgin HDPE plastic (not recycled).
o 90% never get recycled. Takes thousands of years to break down naturally.
o They break down into microplastics, which end up in our drinking water.
● Microplastics have been found in human blood, lungs, and even placentas.
o We now know they shave years off your life.
Even “Pods” Are Designed to Waste Plastic.
● The flexible PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) film does not break down fully in the environment. It’s technically a microplastic that makes its way into water treatment plants, ultimately into your drinking water.
● They could be sold in flexible pouches (which use 80-90% less plastic).
● But they don’t—because people will pay more for rigid plastic packaging that “looks premium.”
● Visual merchandising > Sustainability.
How DadMode Fixes This Broken Industry
We built DadMode from the ground up to solve these problems.
✅ 8X Concentrated Formula
● ALL 7 enzymes—so stains and odors are gone the first time.
● Pre-measured pump dosing:
o 10 pumps = XL loads
o 7 pumps = Large loads
o 5 pumps = Medium loads
● No overdosing. No waste. No sticky detergent cap.
● 64 loads from a 16 oz bottle.
● $0.18/load when you subscribe to refills on our website
✅ DadMode Breaks Into the Laundry Room
● Traditionally, women have been the gatekeepers of the laundry room.
● Dads want to help—who’s turning down an offer for someone else to do the laundry? That’s where DadMode comes in.
● DadMode’s stain remover + detergent combo is the ultimate duo—stain & odor removal that beats anything on the market.
✅ Superior Formula, Better Experience
● No dyes. No fillers.
● Mostly natural fragrance—not a chemical explosion.
● Sandalwood & Suede enhances laundry time but doesn’t overpower.
o If you want the full list of safety exclusions, we put the 4-page doc from our fragrance development team on the website.
✅ Refillable Aluminum is the Future
● As durable as plastic.
● Won’t shatter like glass.
● Unlike a “pod,” it won’t puncture.
● 80% of aluminum is recycled—and can be turned into a beverage can within months.
● Aluminum is infinitely recyclable.
The DadMode bottle is meant to last, refill, and wear in.
Dents and scratches? That’s patina—it shows that you’re using it.
I Have a Chip on My Shoulder About This.
I can’t stand companies that pull the wool over people’s eyes.
I believe in building the best product possible—and calling out the ones that claim they do, but really don’t.
